Hey Carly, so you're using two 4K televisions for your displays? What sizes are they, and how do you like them? How's the fonts?
Post a pic of your studio!

Both 4K 50", the main downside is I find it really really hard to work on a small monitor now.EnochLight wrote: ↑23 Aug 2018Hey Carly, so you're using two 4K televisions for your displays? What sizes are they, and how do you like them? How's the fonts?
My workflow for so many things (not just Reason) has changed massively for the better.
Using Reason at 4K, You get to see over 50 FULL SSL channel strips, I experiment so much more with the SSL now as before it's pain and workflow breaker having to scroll up and down all the time.
Wiring stuff up at the back of rack is a dream, nearly 5 racks wide.
Menu's I get to see a lot more full list's.
I really do 80% of my work, maybe more on just the one screen and maybe more like 90-95% when using Reason, I tend to pin and throw VST's to the second screen more than running how that picture was taken.
As for text, they are fine, I do a lot programming, no issues.
One thing I have noticed is I do keep a number of windows narrow i.e. Chrome, Edge, Word and what ever text editor I using when programming (I could fit 2 and 1/2 Chrome windows next to each other). As looking at a lot of text wide I do find hard to read but I expect that has to do with having to move your eyes and head more.
Going to a big 4K monitor was a game changer... (of course the other plus about a big monitor is you don't worry about any scaling, when you scale up smaller monitors it could mess the fonts up etc.)

Building up my new setup, wood crates and cardboards, monitors and display on the left side, hopefully I haven't messed up the Midi connections

Intimidating. I know the concepts are the same, and I might be able to figure that all out; but on first glance, this makes me feel the way I felt the first time I expanded an NN-XT, like: "Nah." lolRe8et wrote:Building up my new setup, wood crates and cardboards, monitors and display on the left side, hopefully I haven't messed up the Midi connections [emoji38]![]()

Hahaha... I used to have this exact same lamp. I think I got it from Ikea back in the late 90's or early 2000's:

Cool, I meant what brand is the rack itself. Looks like a cool rack & it has wheels on the bottom to move around.
Also I saw another pic of yours with the vocalists. I know the lady with dreads. She’s a very talented vocalist and we’ve worked together. I’m not gonna say her name. But her initials are A.M.

The ranks are by Elite Racks. The bottom rack with wheels is the Elite Rack U16. The Top Rack is the Elite Rack U8. I purchased these from Sweetwater.

Made a few updates recently.
On one side of the room I have a very simple setup I use for running only Logic 9:
On the other side is my main station, which has all the bells and whistles:

I just picked up 2 sets of angled wall brackets to mount my Roland Juno 106 and Ensoniq SQ-1 Plus on my studio wall. Trying to free up some floor space.
