Messed up my guitar. I am sad.
Had a bit of fret buzz. Screwed the bridge up and down a bit. Just moved the buzz. Screwed the neck a bit. Changed the intonation. Tried to get back to somewhere in between and just messed it up even more. So I am sad and I wanted to share my sadness with you. Should have stuck with didgeridoo.

That's sad.
I remember I once repaired a fret with a hammer. Not recommending it generally. Do you have some guitar repair service nearby?
screwed the neck? you mean adjusted the truss rod, I hope?
Transmute your sadness into an opportunity

My Strat has been out of service since before COVID. There's a great guitar technician who used to make regular visits to my city in Vietnam and he's been unable to enter the country since this damn virus hit. It isn't recommended to take such things as original Fender Strats to local repair shops for a variety of reasons. So..... my Strat just sits and waits. The rest of my electric lineup are still back in the USA, but luckily I was able to pick up this Chinese Chibson Les Paul a few years ago. It's actually a pretty decent guitar. Hilarious name on this Chinese made guitar, isn't it?
It's a bolt-on neck? Is that what you were screwing? Sounds like you basically screwed the entire guitar, not just the neck.
Nothing a technician can't fix, I'm sure.
At least you live in a "1st world" country and don't have to wait for a technician to come to your country!
dang, that IS bad, then
ah yes, the gearhead’s guide to problem solving—replace it with something brand new! I’m all too familiar with this method of fixing things.
Here’s the update:
My friend took a look at my guitar. Found that a few frets were higher than others. He’s going to file them down a bit and it’ll be as good as new.
Here’s the loophole. He hasn’t had the time to do it yet which means that it’s still “broken” and leaves me open to order that Am JM as soon as Germany opens for business today :):):):). All good

That sitar actually got sent back. The frets were moving about. Not tied tightly enough. Was just as well really as there was no way in earth I could have learned to play it without a teacher. It was too beautiful an instrument to lie in my studio only for
me to play Paint it Black once or twice a week.

Ah, so you have created a bit more room. Excellent. You could fill that space with another guitar.MrFigg wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021That sitar actually got sent back. The frets were moving about.
