While I agree with you that softsynths can do a hell of a lot more, and can sound great, I've switched over to using primarily hardware for music making and finished more music in the last three months than I have in the last three years. It's a combination of things, I'm sure, but in any case I have fallen in love with hardware because of it. At this point, I'm mainly using Reason to track, mix, master, and add special colour. I was never in love with twisting virtual knobs with a mouse, and I've never had hardware that controlled Reason in a way that worked for me, despite trying a bunch. So hardware is a good fit. But yes, an expensive fit compared to what's available in REs and VSTs!Marco Raaphorst wrote: ↑25 Apr 2019Super cool.
