Hi everyone,

Just a quick poll, what is your main DAW?

Also, out of curiosity, what feature(s) set your go-to DAW apart from Reason?

Cubase is my main DAW and Reason is my main instrument/sound design tool.

That big old list of Reason feature requests... Cubase does most of that stuff already. The two together tick all of the boxes for me.

Never heard of Samplitude, Waveform, Mixcraft, Mulab, Renoise. Of the others, I've no idea what their respective pro/cons are. If I were to sit down and work out what would work best for me maybe I'd find my perfect DAW, but I can't be arsed, so I'll stick with Reason and Logic.

Waiting for Godot had an end 1,5 years ago. Reason wasn‘t delivering what I wanted from a modern DAW and when I got that crossgrade offer from Presonus I couldn‘t refuse, I switched to Studio One 4 and never looked back. Sometimes I use R10 for some sound design. But when I trialled R11 it was so buggy and cumbersome, I wasn‘t even willing to get into it. As for now, R10 will be the last version for me in the Propellerheads (sic!) universe.

I hear lots of people are very happy with Studio One. They do offer a free version. But when I installed it I was getting rhythmic cpu spikes right off the bat. I thought, I already have two DAWs giving me grief I don't need another  So I didn't bother working out a fix.

I only use Reason. No other DAWs at the moment.
Maybe I'll try out Behringers free DAW when it comes out just for fun. Depends on how it looks.

No main DAW, I tend to bounce around mostly between Cubase (I like it best for composition and mixing) and Reason (inspirational cv and pattern device heaven) with a bit of Live on the side (at the moment just because it's so fun to kick out the jams with).

Reason is still a serious contender for whatever style I'm in the mood for.

Yes, it is impressive. Until one needs to buy a new machine to be able to use it. The latest OS is not supporting my macbook from 2013 and buying a new is not possible at this time. So it comes with a price tag, but great as long as one is safe from Apples rapid OS switching.

My main and only DAW is Reason and has been since Reason+ Record came out. Before Kuassa it was a challenge as I make guitar/metal music

I'm in Reason more than Studio One since I only mix in S1. My creativity goes to Reason YURP

I have used Reaper for a long time. Now I am not using any DAW as of now.
