Looks like Behringer version has the extra oscillator types/functions on the 3rd oscillator too. IE. Sine wave & PWM!

This is great because in the original ( and the Korg reissue ) not having that meant having to sacrifice either the LFO or PWM.

and I just noticed an extra LFO bottom left! Oooo, this should be nice. I have a feeling we might get a TC Electronic Spring Reverb tho... (hope not).

Not for a fact. Judging from their previous offerings I'd say $1000-1200 Max.

The look of this is growing on me.

They are clearly trolling Korg with these videos?

Nice. The Korg Arp 2600 looks like an authentic clone in every respect, including size & price. The Behringer version looks much more attainable by mere mortals being more compact & a certainty to be much more affordable than the Korg. I like that they've made it 19" rack mountable as well. So it can sit on a desktop or upright, like the original, in a rack. Interested to hear what the price will be.

In the medium term, the Korg re-issue will increase in price to near astronomical levels while the Behringer "clones" get tossed around like cheap chips that chirp exactly like R2-D2.

In the long term, the Behringers get re-valued according to their improvements and considered a different beast with the same numerology stamped on its mutant forehead,

Longevity on either productions is obviously a missing datapoint from the perspective of right now. Could make for interesting betting, in municipalities where that is considered legal.
