Hello again,

I also made a topic about not getting the Novation Launch Control XL to work how I'd hope it would work with Reason and just in case nobody can provide me with a solution, perhaps the Nektar Impact LX61+ can be of use while I just return the Launch Control back to the store for my money back.

The Nektar Impact LX61+ has 8 Rotary knobs. I've got 64 virtual Rotary knobs that need to be controlled by the Nektar Impact LX61+. I was hoping that it's a simple matter of utilizing 8 different banks and switching back and forth between those banks / patches / presets in order for me to actually modulate all 64 Rotaries without needing overwrite previous rotary knob assignments.

Seeing how Nektar is very Reason friendly, I was hoping I could figure this out myself, but alas, it appears I haz the dumb, so here I am asking for help in hopes of somebody being able to help me out.

Kind regards,
Omkara

I've been looking into this on my own a year ago, because I have the impact 49, but you have to rewrite the codec for this to work. And I didn't have the time and muse to do it. Nowadays I have more knowledge of how a codec works, but still no musings to write my own.

What you have to do is define a button that switches groups and then define all the groups in your remotemap. If you like to do that, I could provide you with more details.

It sounds interesting. Do you know fully how to help me out with creating 8 banks that have assigned 8 different rotaries per bank? Because I know myself, I'm not the type of person that can figure this out on his own; I'm way too impatient for such things.

No, unfortunately, it's not an easy task. I could just give you some entry pointers, as I'm also not a remote codec specialist and don't have the musings to implement this. You can register as a remote codec developer to get documentation for the remote codec development.
