Yes it is. Imagine how powerful the new Mac Pro will be when released.

I think most people are priced out. I'd love to own even the current iMac Pro but the price is pretty much impossible.

Cool video, enjoy geeking out to stuff like this. But really it's as much a testament to how efficient Logic is. Makes sense really, given that it's designed by the company that makes the computers it runs on.

But it's kinda frustrating really. I own a copy of Logic, have to use it for some projects that I get. But I find writing & arranging in it terrible, which is why I prefer Reason. But I can't even get one instance of Reaktor to play using the Form or Kontour instruments. Just for fun I thought I'd see how many I can get in Logic before it becomes unplayable and I got to 7 and I'm sure I coulda piled on more. I have a 2010 Quad Core Mac Pro.

If I could do that with Reason I probably wouldn't lust after one of those 18-core beast iMacs.

you may not need 2018, but 2010? you're pushing it.

I had to go to interwebss to remember what it looked like.
I still have my iPad 2. March 2011. Hanging up reading SPL 24/7...

and sometimes, SPellTower. My main iPad? Reason would be hamstrung.

I'm waiting to see what the next ones are like, the newest Pros are 2013 anyway I think? The 2010 is the truth though, still regarded by many as the pinnacle of Mac Pro design. Many that were upgraded outperform new iMacs and MBPs. Be that all as it may, like I said I have problems getting Logic to hiccup even with this setup. Wish other DAWs had that kind of power because I never got along w Logic, even though I've used it for almost a decade now.

Just finished a song in Reason, not too bad track-wise but had to bounce a lot. Had to bounce just before adding a last part in order to finish it... :?

No doubt. 12 years. wow? I mean, I want my old C64 back, but I can't imagine using it.

I never throw out old computers (macs), so I have my '08, and two '11 MPBs. Quite the Graveyard.
PCs... DELLs... out the window!!

But, let's be real, that aint no 2006 mac pro pictured on your site. Or, is it?

You can’t see it until the picture(sits on the floor) but that is the computer that’s being used.
