So thus year my singer said he wants to do some stuff live - I do all the music and arrangement and he sings
I said I record everything on reason on a laptop surely the crowd will think it’s just basically karaoke !!!
I said well what if the laptop crashes and he says oh just do the track on an acoustic guitar or piano ! The songs have 20 tracks I’m not a pianist so do the chords and play the lead over the top with strings drums bass etc all from reason - he thinks you can remember all the chords all the patterns everything and pull it out of your arse ! The curse of the keyboard player

Perhaps consider a few pieces of hardware so it doesn’t look like one guy is singing while the other is checking emails. An mpc or force to launch clips from and a keyboard to do some light performance on top could go a long way in a live set

Eggzaktly! And reason can be like a multi effects pedal for voice processing?
just make sure to control from a MIDI controller, one with lots of lights!
