I have a weird issue. I want to go live on tiktok and am able to create a nice 8 bar loop that I can repeat and play synthesizer over.
I also have a sax and a guitar hooked up to the audio input on my scarlett interface. I am using a bit of reverb and delay for these audio input channels - I am using the reason effects for these channels. The problem???
The effects ONLY work when I either start recording or when the sequencer isn't doing anything at all. The minute I hit "play" and the music starts, I am not able to play with effects at all. The guitar and the sax are dry.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Reason (I am using version 10) and it did nothing.
Has anyone ever come across this issue before?
thanks in advance
I can ONLY use effects on audio input when recording or idle

Have you also turned on the record arm/monitor icon for the respective audio tracks?
