Let's just say I don't take myself seriously and neither should you.

But when we're talking economics, then we're talking about music as a profession, not as an art.

The economics cannot be separated from the art.

Many talented, and even gifted musicians, all around the globe put their music aside to earn a living.

They get rusty. Even on an individual level.



It's hard to see what is missing, because a lot of art just doesn't get created because of it.



It doesn't put a complete end to art, there's just a lot less bands practising at an Olympic level.
