Now these are the things that inspire me to get a proper drum set and record my own sounds and then slice them up and have a go with reason.
Am I the only one that thinks this fill in is awesome?
No drum kit. No budget or desire for it. I had a gf years ago who played the drums. I used to have fun banging (on her drum kit, that is). I think I ruined a few of her heads, though. But I don't really miss playing drums. I much prefer recording MIDI of finger drumming on my keyboard. Works for me. I do miss the paradiddles.

It is my home studio. FWIW, this is the FIRST time in my 62 years to have my kit at home fully setup and ready to record. This has been my dream since my 20s, and only took 40 years to pull off (and I still don’t have Neve or API mic pre amps and EQs to record through as I would in a “real” studio).
Thought I'd dig into my otherwise useless drum training and transcribe the two fills showing the differences.
