hiya so after thinking a lot
and jackdaw replying to me on here
and after watching a horror film that made me think funny enough
i have to put in perspective
on music software i have wasted time too much time
for no finished product
i just don’t find arranging electronic music fun
which is a shame because it’s what i mostly listen too
i’m gonna put my efforts at the moment into strumming my acoustic guitar and singing and exercising
being on mobiles and computers daws ( usually just playing loads of presets ) looking at toys is a waste of time atm
i was going to give some
software away but i realise i’ll wanna record myself playing acoustic guitar at some point singing
but i just can’t be botherd with the minefield of producing
i wanna do it because i feel like i have too and i could probably be good at it
but like another guy said
it tires me out it isolates me , id have to put most all my energy into it to get good at it and get anywhere
so i’m going back to the start , what got me
into
this music malarkey simple singing and writing lyrics
and along with the most rudimentary of chords and strums that’s what i’m going to do
and exercise and choose life that’s my one more try
is it giving up admiring defeat i dunno
what’s your one last try
One more try

Absolutely no shame in that. It's not giving up. The world actually needs more people playing physical instruments.Ichooselife wrote: ↑31 Aug 2023…i just can’t be botherd with the minefield of producing

But do hone your skills in addressing microphones so you can upload raw stems and have somebody who loves to stare at screens mix them.
