1980s cyberpunk-reading me loves that he stayed alive long enough to see this.

What this video doesn't explain — or maybe I missed it amongst all the snark — is that these people are emulating non-player-characters in role-playing video games. This explanation, however, doesn't make the payments substantially more comprehensible.

The fact that I don't understand this particular thing isn't what makes me worry about the future. The things that make me worry most about the future are readily understandable.
