Let's assume that you have to pick a place to settle down. You're alone and you have your dog.
You have no friends, your family hates you.
You are divorced.
You love the beaches but have been told that you should go to the mountains instead and live a frugal life, instead of the happening party beach lifestyle.
So, then which one would you pick ? And the reasons for your choice?

I'm in India and i am living near Mumbai City.
Now i can go down south to the beaches of Goa.
Or head north towards the Himalayas.
Help me pick.

Beaches because I don't like to be told what to do.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

If I'm choosing between the Himalayas and Goa, then mountains win

But if it's just beaches in general vs mountains in general, it's beach every time (peaceful, good waves, good fishing, non-party vibe). Alpine environment is awesome, but there's something about the coast that really speaks to me

This is an interesting dilemma since I’ve always wanted to live in a place that has mountains next to beaches, so obviously I’m no help here!!! ;)
If forced to choose I’d live in the mountains and visit the beaches, so I voted for mountains.

Hmm so as of now im living in a hilly town, and the white sandy beaches are ten hour drive away...thats actually a good idea...live in the hills, visit the beaches.
