I’m not fond of the alu cones too. I still use an old Mesa Engineering 2 x 10 inch cab with tweeter. The cones are from paper. Works like a charm for 25 years now, only heavy, 36 kg.

But thennagain for 175…… that’s kind of a steal. I would say buy one, is enough for home to medium stage, and if you don’t like it soundwise sell it for €250,=

Nice Adam's! I have 8 inch monitors too in a small room, and it doesn't bother me at all. INstead I enjoy them LOL.

BTW: I have Presonus Eris E8 Gen1 monitors.
