Edifier R1000T4 and T5. A separate, yet matching 2.1 wood speaker system. For 180 EUR value total, that's a killer. Sounds satisfying so far with some shows, and music. Obviously better than the 4k TV's built-in speakers. : )

There were tops plastic sounbar + bluetooth woofer 2.1 systems in the price range, which was a no-thank-you.

Edit: though the LPF is set to 75 Hz to match the T4's bottom end, it's annoying that Fernando José Altamirano del Castillo's voice still creeps into the sub occasionally. Though I guess I need to calibrate volumes, and do better positioning, etc.

Dropped some money i don't really have and bought all the moogerfooger plug ins. Sound pretty incredible though. Its pretty funny, their advertising is like you can connect cv signals to some stuffs. Really, can you? Whats that like?

I could not resist the upgrade offer to MPS5.2 from izotope for 149$ ( -10% with coupon ROCK10). So RX10, O10A and N4 here I come.

:) I think I like it, I ran the demo for a bit and the RV1000 was wearing out it’s welcome. So I’m looking forward to getting to know it better. Reverb is a black art (especially in reverb heavy stuff like synthwave which I’m exploring). Should be a perfect fit, which is why I splurged and everyone sings it’s praises…

Had a cheapish one, with lately a short circuit problem so bought two True Tone Daisy Chain cables for guitar FX’s.

One in use, one spare……

Another guitar. Bjärton från 1981. Little lemon oil on the fretboard and good as new.

Yeah. I think it is actually a 60s Jen (build in the VOX factory in Italy). Was in really bad nick and when I plugged it in it made a dddjjjjjjjjjjjjjzzzzzzzzbbbzzzzzz noise so I went back with it and got the guitar above instead :). Shame really.

Well, there's certainly no risk of any noise from the guitar, unless you hit it with something. Good for late night practice I reckon.

Bought a Berhringer Blue Marvin Arp 2600 clone - it was on sale - plus a bunch of patch leads which are surprisingly expensive.
It's my first piece of hardware. Super cool although somewhat impenetrable working out what some of the bits do, the manual's a bit lackluster.

I'm a big fan of Behringer's clones/copies but they always lack a decent manual. The good news is that the clones are usually so close to the original that you can use the manual from that, or from another manufacturer's clone. Korg have a decent manual for their version of it and also the original Arp manual and patch book. The original manual acts a synthesis tutorial, complete with hand drawn images. It will transport you to another world....

There are a few from that era that are real gems. I'm old enough to have read a few of the originals back then. Those were the days when synthesis was new so a user manual had to tell you how it worked and what to do rather than just what the knobs did. Different times. :D

Not had a lot of spare cash for plugins recently but just bought the fuse stereo vst after demo.

it seemed different to the ozone imager. Quite impressed at the $9 intro price.

So as well as my new blue marvin, yesterday I blew my savings and bought the Behringer Model 55 clone. Its pretty. But I can't do anything with it because I'll have to buy a bunch of long cables and they are surprisingly expensive.... so right now its a big paperweight with lots of holes in it. It has room for more modules so next week as well as some decent size patch leads I'm thinking about getting a Befaco Rampage.
