Technically I didn't buy it myself, my most awesome partner did (she is a designer and a big fan of TE, even has an original OP1).
So far I'm getting on with it far better than the OP1…been asked to review it for Recording Magazine, so more details to follow!

Is it EVER!
;)

I initially had a similar response, but the thing is a BLAST to mess around with, just like the first time I booted up Reason and went to town.
After my initial dismissal I have come to enjoy this "toy" (aka: calculator) very much!

I just received my Panorama P4. This is an excellent controller. I REALLY like it! I got it on Amazon for $372.
My only problem is getting the Surface Locking settings to stay set. But I'll save that for another thread topic.

I also discovered that I can do my own mappings for REs that aren't currently mapped. That is really cool. I'll certainly explore doing non-Reason VSTs, etc.

For those who don't have one, you need one!

I bought Carve EQ Ducker RE. I always passed on it because I thought it was just a dynamic EQ like Omega or DQ. But I realized it is basically TrackSpacer in RE format, and with my arrangements being pretty dense, this is a nice addition to my arsenal.

I just bought audio damages other desert cities. It won't replace the echo for standard delay tasks but for more weird granular and reverse delays and sound designing etc it is great.

Been looking at it for a while and it is currently on sale at plugin boutique so picked it up (along with the free polymax synth)

I've ordered a base Kindle:

Surprisingly, it will take until beginning of March to get here

Oh well, will continue to read paper books like a peasant until then, I guess...

I bought my second Udu drum. This particular model is called Udongo. It's a rather weird one but I like it.

They look cool.

With all these new instruments will we perhaps see a Tritone perc refill in the future perhaps.

You certainly have a lot of interesting sounds to use in your songs.

That's a fun idea. You never know. Right now I'm just focused on getting to know and play all my new instruments. Not really in "making refill mode" at the moment.

I bought a swar vst. It's a vst concerning with Indian instruments and rhythm. Anyone who wants Indian rhythms needs to have this. It's amazing.

I'm a paper book fanboi, marking them up, collecting them, favorite passages noted on inside front cover, etc.
BUT! If Kindle gives me definition and pronunciation, that might change my mind.

I gave in to Edifier R2850DB speakers. I was dying to get a 3-way speaker pair, which is convenient (bluetooth, RCA inputs, coax, optical), looked cool (yep : ) ), has enough power, is big enough (yes, AAAAH!), and has decent sound. Oh hey, came with a remote control, too, sub out, and bass, treble, volume knob. Don't mind if I do!

I'll do a full review of it sometime.

Most of the use will be casual listening, TV/movies, videogames.
I'll also do some 5.1 tests, to see if I want to get into multi-channel music.

Their main purpose was and is: to buy something fun for once - instead of something that's mostly for work-only.

Are they good for music production though? I'll answer that in the future.

Pictures from Edifier's website:

SEQUND and ChordJam, two interesting and useful sequencey things that, alas, won't play nice with Reason without a workaround. That's cool, Logic makes it easy.
SEQUND is random fun with a generous assortment of lanes.
ChordJam smokes ChordSequencer. Workflows aren't the same, obviously,, but the feature set in ChordJam is massive by comparison.

I love SEQUND. The probability-based hopping between two melodies had me almost instantly! Really interesting stuff.
I expected to like ChordJam but it didn't click with me at all. The sequence editing just felt really clunky so I didn't buy that one. Scaler 2 is my main ride for chord progressions. Scaler 3 is coming out later this year so it will be interesting to see what they've added.

I bought this during Black Friday (pre-order). And it won't ship until May/June. Doesn't matter much to me because they wouldn't ship to my country of residence, I had to have it shipped to my mom's house in the US. Perfect timing because I'll be back in the US in June for a visit. Just in time to pick up my new toy. I'm really excited to get it. Been waiting for years for one of these Roli boards.

I got a T4 last year and I absolutely LOVE IT! It's great. The only thing I dont like is the noisy keyboard when you release the keys. I saw a YT video that shows how to fix that, but it's too much work to be bothered. Anyway, great piece of gear.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.
