Since we are having an acid challenge, I thought it would be a good idea to have thread where we share inspiring acid tracks :

The soundtrack for Wipeout on Playstation was awesome and one of my favorites. Many of those songs, such as this one here by CoLD SToRAGE (Tim Wright), who is/was a Reason user. This came out before Reason, so I guess he used something else then.

I was about to post CoLD SToRAGE's tracks from Wipeout 2097. They are top notch. Hardcoded in my brain since I was a teenager speeding in my Feisar. At the time I remember the genre was called Percussive Techno or something like that, so I am not sure it's eligible as an example of Acid. The track you posted frome the 1995 Wipeout is definitely more acid.

After all, I think I'll post them anyways :)

Wipeout was an incredible franchise. Awesome game from Psygnosis, top artists in the scene contributing to the soundtrack (from The Prodigy to FSOL, to the Chemical Brothers), and the incredible design and art direction from The Designer Republic. You could not ask more from the UK in the mid-90s.

Great taste, Joeyluck!

Luke Vibert is worth checking out for those who haven't heard him. He has a few projects, this one came to mind first.

So many great tracks!

Important question: Are these two the most famous acid tracks?:
