Well, I understand that post production isn't exciting to you, and given it sounds you have little interest in having your music being heard anywhere, then I think focusing on post production would be a waste of time unless that situation changes! If you don't like it, don't force it ‍♂️

Labels... Yeah, no. You have to make something that fits their sound, and the ones worth it seldom ever include new names they aren't already friends with. The rest will sign anything and take advantage of producers, who never see a dime while the labels run a profitable business. The other option is doing the whole self release thing, but that requires investing and a lot of non music related work which may not be ideal. ‍♂️
