This poll works just as much as a self reflection tool for myself to question what I'm doing with my time. Might as well share it. Sometimes we do things out of habit without even thinking about it.
These are just a couple of ideas I came up with. Some options might be similar but worded a little differently. Feel free to pick as many options as you want.
I'm sure there could be many many more reasons to be here at RT. Write them down in the comment section if you have other reasons not mentioned.

Yep, unfortunately there's no way to change or add options once the poll has started. So your comment will have to do.

I like ReasonTalk. It's focussed on some topics. Mostly helpfull. Except for nagging with new updates but I don't mind.
I'm not that deep into Reason so sometimes I hope for some workflow tips that will give me wings while deep down I know; Making good music is hard work, don't kid yourself looking for a free lunch.
The overall atmosphere is good here.

You may select up to 23 options! ha ha

because the old reason forum(PUF) was taken down, and I had been a member for a long time. I was hoping the same type of community would continue. I do miss a lot of the old posters, there was a wealth of info at one point, now there are a lot of spammers trying to sell their products, occasionally there's some golden advice that keeps me checking in on the regular. Mostly it seems like the same few people looking for a social outlet

To disparage Phil Collins, and badmouth wind energy. Also to argue about politics by proxy.

A Sith Lord does not safeguard happy donuts.

2% on "To make wishlists and suggestions about Reason."
Yeah right. And you expect me to believe that number.
I guess all the wishlist people are too busy making wishlists to have time for a RT poll.

And occasionally drive a thread towards being LOCKED just for the hell of it.

I utterly loathe advertising of all kinds and I haven't felt spammed here.
- Shocker: I have a SoundCloud!
One of the top reasons why I continue to visit ReasonTalk is to ask/answer questions and share knowledge, tips and trick.
One of my favorite things on this forum is when somebody asks something and I get to build a patch/combi/REASON file that helps answer their question. This has happened twice this week and both times the file that I started to help the other user ended up developing into a song/project that I was quite please with. So in the act of helping somebody else, actually helped me. And this is truly the beauty of teaching, which is my chosen profession. On the flip side of that coin, whenever I face a problem or have a question about something Reason/music related, I am never disappointed with the amazing responses (and memes) I get from the people on RT. There is a lot of knowledge in this space. We are all students and also teachers; simultaneously. ReasonTalk gives me a source of inspiration which is unmatched. And the comradery on this forum is pretty cool, too. You guys are pretty good blokes and I enjoy rubbing e-elbows with you all.
PS: What's with all the donut talk in the tread? I'm definitely pro-donut, but haven't had a good one in years. Vietnamese bakeries don't understand the western pallet. Their donuts here are utter crap. Sadly, I have to travel all the way to Thailand or Singapore to get a decent donut.

You can thank the Mod team for that. We filter out so much spam, it isn't even funny. Well... sometimes it's funny. Sometimes I want to approve some of the posts just for their comic value.integerpoet wrote: ↑03 Jun 2021I utterly loathe advertising of all kinds and I haven't felt spammed here.
