There were multiple conversations going on and they have all been silenced because one person felt like it?

I would understand if Props requested you silence a thread for an important reason but I have never been a fan of merging threads as it kind of silences people by messing things up so much, now we have to contend with entire thread deletion as well?

If we can't express ourselves without potentially wasting our time or being made to 'shut up' then we lose the freedom of that expression of free thought exchange and perhaps from now on we could just have the mods make new threads, and users can select pre-made quotes to add to those threads like 'I think that's cool' or 'I don't think that's cool' and leave the entire forum like that.
