But the drummer (Dime's brother) survived.
Only to be taken down by cancer in 2018
A Pantera Reunion is highly unlikely.
Speaking of Spice
I was Julee Cruise’s hired drummer hand for her Twin Peaks American tour. She sure as hell wasn’t going to pay for (I can never remember his name) who drummed on the actual recording, dude wanted triple A scale.
80’s, 90’s who can remember that far back. Not me.
So we’ve got a gig in LA and Lynch is kind enough to show up and critique the sound check. He keeps doing this over/under hand motion looking directly at me meaning I should take it up a notch, which ain’t the easiest thing to do while driving a band via brushes and while all during rehearsals Julee wanted me to play what was on the record strictly. no embelishment, no picking it up.
It was at that point I thought I would just retire to my living room and write music what pleased me, crazy idea, I know

Do drummers find it easier than the average non drummer to 'programme' beats into a 16 square sequencer clip? Or is that such a foreign concept to a performing drummer that it makes little difference in the end? For expample.. I do be trying to programme reggae drums sometimes but i find it horrendously difficult as i dont know wheather to draw in straight hihats and try to swing them with the regroove mixer or actually draw in triplet patterns without the regroove. i get caught inbetween cause it never sounds right either way (thats just an example). Anyway what be your answer to the manual programming thing?

Cool yea . Thing is i dont know if its even possible to 'programme' convincing reggae anyway. Any videos i've seen of it it was guys finger drumming patterns into sequencer..which is a whole other thing i guess . Anyway ..cool
Methinks your problem is trying to force fit your ideas onto a pre existing conundrum
Everyone what came before you is at least as stupid as you are
prolly more so but I ain't a goddamn mathematician
