OK, the standards are dubious. But I still wonder who is having problems with proper sleep in your picture.
I don’t know either. Did I say anyone was having problems?
You did not, that's where I wandered. Then what has dreamless sleep got to do with the topic? I can relate it to wakefulness to some extent, but what should i do now with dreams or lack thereof? I am concerned.

Not to be disrespectful in any way but it may be that it doesn’t translate. It’s metaphor for people who walk around unconscious of what’s actually happening around them. TOPY was about awareness.

To add to that...the aim was self knowledge. Who are you really? That knowledge is perhaps more valuable than knowing which number comes next in a sequence or how many triangles are in a picture.

The question remains, who are you really by whose standards? What's really happening around them unconscious in whose reality? I mean, isn't TOPY just an attempt to build another system from scratch on an island away from the existing ones? So it stands perfectly in line with other visions, which also claim to stand for consciousness.

Sure. But it’s not constrained by structure or dogma. It’s what you want it to be. Choose your own elements. Works for me. Maybe something else works for you. Also what you believe here and now doesn’t have to be what you believe tomorrow. Open for new ideas and modes of thinking. Try adopting and experimenting with others belief structures just for the fun of it. Be who you wanna be. :) just don’t hurt anyone else in the process.

I have a PhD in economics and I'd say being smart is way too overrated whereas being hardworking is underrated. I unfortunately have more of the former and less of the latter.

Creativity and imagination is what I believe in.

Being smart is not so important to me. I am learning all the time. However, social smartness is something I am interested in. The interaction between thoughts and feelings.

It may be smart not to be obsessed.

It can be a big block to get lost in the smartness zone. Smartness can be very close to being a fool, if the smartness bite itself in the tale.

For instance, smart minds are not immune against conspiracy theories, quite the opposite can be the case. The overthinking can twist and meet the zone of underthinking. So the less knowing meets the ones who think they know better than anyone else. So yes, wisdom and common sense is crucial to develop. And wisdom is like a knowing by loving understanding. A com-passion for Truth, not as a sterile fixed stagnant thing of the form, but of a more organic flow of open awareness and alertness and innocent mind.
If going the path of all knowing intellectual pride, it will become destructive and seperative, and grow more and more cynical mindset and get trapped in a cage.
The opposite, to be all too open and trusty, with too undeveloped discrimination faculty of the mind, can lead to being used and abused and crushed by a tough world.
So, as long as it is as is, one need to balance and try walk between street smartness and kindness. It is the art of the middle path.

it may be smart to not go around claiming you are smart. its sort of like a woman going around talking about how beautiful she is all the time. trust me, people get turned off by it.

A lifelong pursuit, totally worth the investment IMO.

As for "smart", the smartest people I know are the ones that know what they don't know (and work towards filling those gaps).

Who cares if people think they're a genius or an idiot?
Do stuff until it's muscle memory.
8 hours a day practicing something will get you somewhere 8 times faster than wondering if it's gonna make a difference for 30 minutes.
