One of the big downsides of VSTs that never gets mentioned.

While I despise mail from PH/RS for other purposes than these being a necessary evil to get coupons for upgrades like Virtual Drummer, it's so cool that we're not bombarded with this shit by RE developers.

In your opinion, are there any GOOD newsletters? Any company WORSE than Waves?

Rob Papen were pretty good when I was interested in additions to the eXplorer bundle. Once a month. If it hadn’t been for that mail out I’d probably never have realized they’d added new free synths and effects. Their support is also amazingly fast, personal and helpful. So yeah...RP got it down.
Otherwise I feel your pain.

I had a time where I would get Emails from Studiolinked every single day, and that for several weeks, I thought they were about to go bankrupt or something, it wasn't normal seeing how hard they insisted to sell their stuff for half the price or less

the only advertising newsletter that doesn’t bug me is Musician’s Friend’s stupid deal of the day. Waves ads are super annoying. this time of year is great for figuring out which mailing lists you need to unsubscribe from.

I don't bother unsubscribing, I just label the senders as spam. Then if I do get an urge to buy something i can just have a look at the latest in my spam folder for deals.

seems I get at least one and often two emails a day from this mixed up, confused, and unfocused company RS... Often , even the shop page has errors of double posts. Removal of the forum was the beginning of a chain of retarded choices.... Having to prove you are human to buy something, or update your racks is idiotic. The removal of rewire is a slap in the face. The fact they can rarely do as they promise is mystifying... and then there is the support joke. On top of all that, I see their ads multiple times a day on facebook. WOW They must be on powerful drugs, or perhaps Cern has messed with their minds to the extent that thinking is no longer an option. Desperate or lost ? Can't decide. Mysteries and more mysteries

I wish i would receive a bit more news from a few good devs like Kilohearts. But tbh, i get the news i want and most that are bombarding me, i just let them through for a "free" stuff coupon. But they gonna reach a point...where i just kick them and never look back...
