If you're trying to be a teen pop star then yes age matters. I'm going to see Richie Hawtin in September and he is almost 50.
The time has come for you to take care and comb your hair.

On planet songwriting nobody is ever over 25 and happy in love.
I'm about to turn 40 and I've given up trying to be down with the kids. I think I'm a lot happier for it too.
If you put on a good show they will come, just don't waste your time trying to please everyone.
@pushedbutton on twitter, add me, send me a message, but don't try to sell me stuff cos I'm skint.
Using Reason since version 3 and still never finished a song.

Youre not kidding. I saw him at the Royal Albert in 2008 when he was in his 70's. Guy was on fire. In a deep dark Leonard kind of way.

Exactly. If you're a woman artist and part of your image is based on sex appeal then the passing of time, more than likely, will not be kind to you. Her music is great but nobody wants to see a granny up there shakin' what their momma gave em'.

There are a few there are a lot of actors ,
Lately was sea sick steve and that guy that was a james brown impersonator ,
There was this guy i cannot remember, a black guy soul singer, was a major no good crack head until he made it big in singing at about 36/37 cant remember the guys bloody name i googled it by chance a few years back ,
The problem is all these people making it older ain't championed in society are they just the young ones and extremely successful ones are , i bet there are loads of people who start and change there life around or just get lucky late , its just harder finding them .

If your mind is young and body is healthy, no problem with age at all. But things aren't always by the plan.

Age does not matter much ... experience plus physical and mental fitness do.
