Do You Like Chips?
I'm known among friends and family for my Belgian style triple-fried chips and homemade mayo (I have three mayo flavors that people tend to like: Truffles, Sriracha with a smokey twist and of course garlic) I make. When I have guests who love spicy things I make a Psycho Juice Mayo. The 600.000 Scovilles makes them jump higher than my beats ever will (As a reference Habanero pepper is 150.000 Scovilles). Sometimes I make Sweetpotato fries (of course triple-fried) topped with freshly grated Parmeggiano.
With that said I love proper British chips with salt and (malt) vinegar from the local chip shop (used to work in Birmingham so I have had my fair share). Frozen chips will never enter my household tho...

Does anyone like pizza?
Fish N' Chips, not American chips
I'll be honest, I voted before I read the following post. So as an American, I figured he meant chips automatically and voted no.

Remember freedom fries after France's objection to join 'Murica's war against Saddam Hussein?

There is quite a difference between Chips and Crisps (eventhough crisps are called chips in my country Sweden as well confusingly enough)!

Salt and sauce, that's odd lol!MrFigg wrote: ↑17 Jun 2019In Scotland you can get a pizza supper...deep fried pizza and chips. You can also get a haggis supper...haggis in batter and deep fried. Pickled onion in there and you’re laughing.Creativemind wrote: ↑17 Jun 2019
Brill. In the paper is best and outside. Hopefully not raining though.
Bet Scotland has really good chippies. I heard Manchester has great chip shops. When Adam Rickitt (the actor who played Nick Tilsley in Corrie before the current actor - Ben Price) was asked many many years ago what he missed about moving away from Manchester, he said the chip / chip shops lol!
They’ve also got fritters. Like big slices of tatties battered and fried. Not to mention the infamous deep fried Mars bar. Heart attack capital of Europe??
What I always found weird was in Glasgow you got asked “salt and vinegar?” But when you went through to Edinburgh it was “salt and sauce?” Like a diluted version of HP.
I also would like to clarify that the vinegar (in English chippies anyway) is Non-Brewed Condiment. Far nicer than ordinary malt vinegar.
Had a deep fried Mars Bar once, pretty nice actually.
As for fritters, I like Spam Fritters but 'round here (the midlands) they seem to be hard to find nowadays. Always potato fritters but I always think, why have potato fritters, you've already got potato in the chips, Spam fritters are what you want. Lol!

Lol! we have found someone. Like when I was 17, my brother had a friend who visited and he didn't like tea. It was the first time I'd ever heard of anyone not liking tea but that's quite common these days especially amongst the millennial generation, it's all pop or energy drinks. When I was at college, walking in at breakfast time, 8.15am and seeing a 17yo having a fry up and a can of Coke or Dr.Pepper, at that time of the morning, all that sugar, great way to start the day.

There's a chippy in Yorkshire called Scoffs that do these amazing battered chips but it isn't the same batter (like I originally thought) as on a fish, it's a softer kind of batter, almost like a breadcrumb but not. They're amazing. I only know about them 'cause I used to live in Torquay, Devon and in Paignton (just up the road) there was a Scoffs funnily enough. They used to give out free tasters sometimes. They're unbelievable. Mmmmm!

Haha, nice question... as a child I used to have an eating disorder, I refused to eat anything other than chips, bread, some sweets and omelette. So my main dish was actually chips for quite a while until I finally got over it.
