Calibrate monitor windows 10

I'd never done this before so might be useful for someone else. I was trying to calibrate for Affinity Photo printing and surprised how Reasons "pops" now and is much easier to read.
I just used the basic microsoft display calibration tools that come with windows 10 .

Control panel, colour management, advanced tab , calibrate display button and follow the prompts.

It's amazing how eye-bleachingly blue my laptop's screen was before I got an XRite ColorMonki. I wish I'd done it years ago, but it always seemed fiddly and niche and expensive and low down the priorities.
Not only do my photos reliably print like they look on screen now, everything else about using the computer just looks nicer too, including Reason.
If you enjoy photography, just do it.
