I've seen and even asked for something like this in the past and i know it can seem an act of desperation or defeat.

I'm hoping i can persuade you this is different.

I can't monitor or listen on anything but my dt770pro headphones.

I feel like i have some cool stuff coming on but can't trust my mix or mastering (mainly in terms of dynamics but also low end).

I'm looking for a partner who is good at drum programming/fx, builds and variations/mixing/mastering and has a good home studio capable of producing balanced commercial material.

See 'can't see the woods for the trees' and 'yes baby' plus a few from my last album - from beyond - on bandcamp.

Let's do it by pm.

Thanks.

As long as the terms are well defined with a solid and clear contract I don't see how this could be seen as a defeat by anyone.

Good luck!

It is an interesting idea and could potentially give you a fresh perspective. I think my days of collaboration are over though. I like to be in control.

Keep the thread alive from time to time, as a reminder, or maybe asking in the music sub would be best?

I'm open to looking at a project periodically, giving feedback and maybe trying something but I can't commit to anything like that. I can offer my two cents no strings attached. I am pretty honest though; will tell you if something sucks but I try to be objective of course.

We should conside, when he can't recognize himself, if he looking in the mirror.

I am pleased with the thought and the result with the muscle fever that I could make with you in the past.

That was an interesting project. Perhaps I owe it to the rabbit to have scattered gems. :D

Maybe Zac can send me something by Monday.

Whatever is clever. It would be ideal for me to harness the glorious power of the illuminating full moon. Monday is the day after the full moon but I'll still be fully charged throughout the day after staying up all night with the moon. Tuesday is when I must reverse my transformation as I descend back to my unworthy existence but I'm hoping to have made an impact by then.

PM Sent.

I’ve got a full studio, and 15 years experience as a recording engineer...almost 30 as a pianist and drummer. I’ve got an MPC, SP1200, and Maschine along with a huge library of samples I’ve created over the years, and I’ve been looking for a collaborative partner as well.

Here is a recent song:
DAW: Reason 12

SAMPLERS: Akai MPC 2000, E-mu SP1200, E-Mu e5000Ultra, Ensoniq EPS 16+, Akai S950, Maschine

SYNTHS: Mostly classic Polysynths and more modern Monosynths. All are mostly food for my samplers!
