I just want to show some appreciation to the RE developers for keeping the RE format alive.
Criticism is all well and good and there's a place for that for sure. But sometimes it's nice to let go of all critical thinking and just appreciate what's there, a bunch of talented developers trying their best to make great products for us Reason users. And I for one am greatful for that.
I was worried that VSTs and the subscription model would make the RE market go away, but lately there's been a constant flow of new REs released in the Shop which is great to see.
I don't buy every new RE (obviously) but I'm willing to give everything I find remotely interesting a try at least.
There's been a few new releases that I couldn't resist getting:
Champagne SuperNova Vintage Synthesizer
Synapse RE-160
Mixfood Ambi Urban Ambiance Generator
Stimulant Subharmonic Generator

I totally agree with you.
I also love small ones.
A few buttons, tools with audio in/out and cv in/out.
This is unique compared to the "vst plugin"
I hope that many "REs" will come.

Allowing VSTs in Reason was a good and unavoidable decision in my opinion.
It showed how much better Re-s are in terms of integration into the Rack and licence management.
Hopefully PH will work on the SDK and my dream is to see third party Player Re-s!
Keep the positive vibe (even when criticising things)!!!

Yes thank you developers, I’ve started buying re from a company called @dnalabssoftware and I am really impressed with the sound and design they have going on moving forward I will continue buying refills and re from them, they are extraordinary. Again thank you
Keep em' coming!
Couldn't agree more! The RE developers are outstanding.
Even if it is a device that I don't have an interest in, I still respect the work that you have put into everything.
If you are a developer who is on the fence because of the recent inclusion of VSTs, please know that there are many of us who are extremely appreciative of your efforts...
Thanks very much!

Thanks for this Re Developer appreciation thread TritoneAddiction. Reasonistas also appreciates the Reason community's continued support. It takes an enormous amount of detailed work to develop Re devices so it's great to know users appreciate the products and services Re developers provide. You guys rock!
This right here is why i like RE's.
I like to reinstall windows on my computer regularly and RE's make this process painless... that "sync all" button was a genius move.

And now, thanks to all the future Players developers! Or do those count as RE as well?
