Can’t remember the user but he tried to have a Reason version of the Production expert sites. Sadly didn’t work out to well. Don’t think there were enough contributors to keep it moving

Wow, I know Mark, I forgot that was his site. I remember it looked pretty snazzy.

Hydlide runs that site. He's got some great tutorials, but some of his opinions can be.. questionable. His latest on mastering claimed the only purpose of mastering was to make things loud ("nothing less, nothing more"). Yeah um, nope.

When I read someone for so long on PUF and elsewhere a filtering plugin is auto generated. I get the knowledge I need and reject the one I don't.
Don't forget some people on the Net are younger than us. They never heard of vinyl cut bad and needle skipping. One quarter? Or two dimes needed on top of the cartridge to keep it down? Ultimate knowledge :P

Oh man - you've brought me back to a day when playing music required almost as much effort as writing it. I went through several record players - some high end - some cheap component. I was no stranger to the quarter/dime trick.

Hey don't blame that on youth. I'm only old enough to have used casettes but I know mastering is more than making things louder :puf_wink:

And record players... Yeah y'all are showing your age....
