Hi All!
Anyone know any places that offer Music Production courses in the U.K that aren't college or uni?
I want a course that offers more onus on your career so teaching you things like how to market yourself / networking strategies / creating contacts, production and songwriting tips (with real assistance in the studio to enhance your productions to a high level) as well as learning sequencing techniques on daw's such as Pro Tools, Logic and Cubase and maybe even vocal coaching, guitar / piano / drum lessons and learning music theory at the same time as gaining a qualification. Bit like what the Brit School is but for adults and somewhere closer as I'm in the midlands.
Thanks!

Seems like you pretty much want to learn everything regarding music. There's a ton of good information for free on the internet. Are you sure you need a traditional course? Besides I don't think you'll find any course that helps you with all of those things simultaneously.
Just learning all the instruments you mentioned alone will take years to truly get good at. I would suggest pick one and practise that one for a while.
Maybe start with a couple of things at a time.
These two channels have a ton of stuff on most things you mentioned, everything from producing, mixing, song writing, theory, scales, the business side of things.

Thanks. Will check it out.
I've heard of Rick Snoman. He wrote the Dance Music Manual.

There are a few decent places in London, and you'll find short day / weekend workshops on a few of those subjects like marketing and networking.

Sounds like what Lewisham College (now LeSoKo) used to offer back in the early '00s. David and Natasha Beddingfield both attended there.I want a course that offers more onus on your career so teaching you things like how to market yourself / networking strategies / creating contacts, production and songwriting tips (with real assistance in the studio to enhance your productions to a high level) as well as learning sequencing techniques on daw's such as Pro Tools, Logic and Cubase and maybe even vocal coaching, guitar / piano / drum lessons and learning music theory at the same time as gaining a qualification.
