Most people agree that it is this track that's the first real hardcore house track. Back in 1990 I lived in Amsterdam and a friend of mine made good money and had technics tt's and bought a bunch of records ever week. I went over to his house frequently and at one point he mixed this in. I was stumped. Flabbergasted. And I still am.

I love this track. Probably took me about 15 years to find out what it was called.

I had almost forgotten about it, then I was reading about the first "hardcore" records (they weren't hardcore back then of course, it was just house, but loud as f*ck), so this came up, and I played it and was like "OHHHHHH YESSS THAT ONE!!!!". Loads more of those gold gems that I know by sound but not the title. But it's nice to be surprised in this way occasionally. :) It was the stuff like this that also inspired me to make music on the Amiga.

I'm curios what makes a House Track 'Hardcore' ? 1990 is a lil' late for the First, is my meaning.
