Mh... While of course they sell way more generations and useless small updates than they should I don't think thats really the case here. What is disturbing is the fact that we almost base our whole society on this technology - some people already proclaim a new age or whatever. And now it turns out the people who build the base blocks for that new age are pretty sloppy and thoughtless doing it. I mean its almost like somebody saying "sorry guys, we found out that we can't use any of our power plants anymore". Imagine what that would mean.
