Lost the project file for my Aaliyah - Try Again instrumental cover

This one to be exact.

I had it stored somewhere in my My Documents folder, which is not where my project files usually go. I don't even know why I had it stored there. So when making my backup before wiping the machine that file got left behind.

I had always intended to improve the arrangement.

Maybe I'll do it again and record the process or something.

So much time lost obsessing over recreating all those sounds

Found it on an old micro SD card.

The card had been sitting idly inside a device I used to use for work

There are lots of other instrumentals on it as well (as well as other instrumental remakes).

I can't tell you how many times I've carefully scraped through every nook and cranny in my backups and online storage.

With that kind of stuff I’ve given up on figuring out why something suddenly appears from where I thought I had looked before… Just glad when it happens!
