I've given up on most films/shows. Its to the point I can't be bothered. Not only does most everything bore me....
Too much propaganda and zero moral foundation. ( I don't consider trash to be entertainment ). Also the brain perceives what we experience through a screen as real. So I don't need all that extra anxiety and trauma.

So you're not a big fan of "reality" shows then?
Yeah, for me TV and movies are mostly pretty bad. I like sports and those home shows (yeah I know they are fake, but I love to dream about having my own place and renovating)

While the scene surely matured quite a bit, Evoke is still kind of a cosy party (the real party is outside
) and has imho not changed that much in the past 15 years. As for the sponsors, if I'm not mistaken most of these are small to medium businesses run by sceners and I appreciate the free BBQ and the rather low entrance fee that's made possible by the sponsors.
Well, I'll be there (again). If you feel like it you can always tune in to the live steam. But now: Time to rotate a few more cubes!
