Finally got around to watching Strange New Worlds, and its great! Corny af, really funny, looks fantastic, kinda snowflakey and weirdly moving in places. Just my cup of tea.

Posted this yesterday and was sad to read this morning the actress who played Lt Uhura in the original series just passed away. Quite moving article about her and the importance of her part.

About to start watching Jodie Whittaker's last Doctor Who episode. sad to see her go, the 13th Doctor had some really badly scripted episodes but she's great and come on, Yazteen!

Ech, bit of a fizzler sadly. Decided to re watch Legion - amazing camera work and set design, great soundtrack, lots of wtf bits that go on and on while you wonder quite what the point theyre making is, totally my kind of thing. See also: Devs, a highly under rated show, more people should watch it, like Tarkovsky in 21st century California.

hello,

just got done watching this video

i don't know if i like the guy always: casey neistat (sp?)
but he does have a bunch of subscribers (12 million)
he and family moved back to nyc from la
because they missed it

now he runs in the nyc marathon

and the video showcases how humans can triumph over their own issues

'we're dying, but we're not dead yet'

whether or not the 'cheering for casey' people are legit is one thing,
however, my aunt from texas ran the nyc marathon about 10 years ago
and finished (don't know her time / now i'm curious)

the footage and narration really compliment said video

brooklyn forever

'that is new york city'

ashton kutcher makes a cameo

the songs are banger

cheers,

j

1899!
From the folks who gave us Dark, comes another WTF show.

For some good old fun, Wednesday was better than expected.

Just been watching both those too. I really enjoyed Wednesday, far more than I'd expected. The lead actress is fantastic in it. I found 1899 a bit disengaging but the visuals are top notch. Binged Andor last week too, also above expectations and just great to look at
