You shared what you were watching 3 times in a row, then needed a confirmation from others to justify your love and your choice of escapism/entertainment.
Someone else said as a possible spoiler that the Star Wars Universe died with TLJ.
The spirit of this thread is alive and strong
What are you watching at the moment? (possible spoilers)

Nonsense - Luke wasn't killed way too quick - he literally served the exact purpose intended: saving the resistance by buying them time to escape. He Force-projected himself - in an absolutely believable form well enough to fool Kylo Ren - over light years and planetary systems away.sleep1979 wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019i think u have to be one of those , that film ruined luke skywalker and where was the fight with the evil bad guy he got killed way too quick , they should have done a new story with luke dead already , they just ruined him made him a complete ... lol , i dont know how u can like that film man it was terrible lolEnochLight wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019
Ah, you're "one of those"... No worries - I'm sure The Rise of Skywalker will redeem the series for you.
That film was a masterpiece, both with narrative and as far as taking bold choices with the story. Seems most agreed (it ranks 91% on Rotten Tomatoes).

Not watching much other than the idiotic NFL draft stuff. Man, they sure do know how to beat a dead HORSE!
Was watching some sci-fi stuff, HGTV stuff (meh, but not bad) and then nothing.
Oh, saw "Ant-man and the Wasp" ........ pretty bad.

OK so - Game of Thrones "The Long Night" episode last night? FREAKING EPIC. Worth every second of the wait.
Avengers: End Game? Probably one of the THE BEST superhero movies to ever come out, EVER. Of course, I couldn't say that without making the connection to all of the other MCU films that preceded it. So much awesome is that 3 hours, I can't even begin.

My favourite scene is where the screen goes completely black...EnochLight wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019OK so - Game of Thrones "The Long Night" episode last night? FREAKING EPIC. Worth every second of the wait.
So far, the season has been somewhat of a disappointment for the extra long time they made us wait. Eps 2 was the best so far. Now that the Northern Threat is gone, I think the rest of the season will be pretty good - concentrating on plot twists and characters.
I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10 and I'm a big fan of the MCU. It wasn't shit, but it wasn't epic either.EnochLight wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019Avengers: End Game? It looked fine on my TV, but I have a rather expensive 4K panel and on Direct TV Now via an Apple TV 4K it looked fantastic (Dolby Vision FTW)! That said, we also watched it with the lights off and I have my panel calibrated for dark scenes.stratatonic wrote: ↑30 Apr 2019My favourite scene is where the screen goes completely black...EnochLight wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019OK so - Game of Thrones "The Long Night" episode last night? I enjoyed it better than episode 1 and 2. I realize there's only so much medieval style warfare one can watch, but I felt there were enough pauses to keep it interesting and the pacing was spot-on perfect. If I had any complaint, I thought more major characters would die.
I'm leaning more towards a 9.5/10 myself. It was far better than Infinity War, and tied many of the previous films together inside of its plot narrative brilliantly. The end scenes were real tear jerkers, IMHO.stratatonic wrote: ↑30 Apr 2019I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10 and I'm a big fan of the MCU. Bladerunner 2049 again. Still meh. Great visuals and I think I like it more than the first time, but it's not that great.

Game of Thrones: S8 E5 tonight! I suspect we're going to see at least a few heads roll, but whether or not one is Cersei's or Danny's, it's anyone's guess!

Holy crap... so "The Bells" did NOT go how I thought it would go. Varys: dead. Arya did NOT kill Cersei (or Jaime). We finally got Cleganebowl, and that went down how I pretty much figured it would. I knew Danny would go full "Mad Queen", but holy SHIT... there's literally nothing left of King's Landing at this point. What exactly is she planning to rule, now?EnochLight wrote: ↑12 May 2019Game of Thrones: S8 E5 tonight! LOL! Had to Google who that was, because I've never heard of him. Then again, I'd never heard of Ed Sheeran before his cameo as well.
You missed a fantastic episode.

I'm nearing the end of "Skyscraper" which is ABSURD! But it's been entertaining even though it's lame. Sometimes you just have to roll with nonsense..........
