yea bad with clouds but I got slims of it where I was standing, I've seen other video on FB where there was a clear skye, even with the skies it was an amazing experience and it won't happen here again until 230 years so I guess I'll miss that onexDJDroidx wrote:Real shame it was a cloudy day. Nice vid and tune though.

Fuckin clouds! Thanx for sharing cuz I'm also on the other side of the world. I did see the last one we had which was my first one I ever saw and it was a clear sky, so breath taking.
Our next one here in USA is 8/17 and I won't miss it for the world!
EDIT: yeah nice music to go along with it.

Cool track! I wasn't aware that it was a total eclipse at Faroe Islands too (I just saw some pictures from Svalbard on the internet). Sorry for the shitty weather! Remembers me to the total eclipse in 1999 where it really depended on the urban district whether you could watch all or nothing (I was on the lucky side ).
I watched today's eclipse here in Munich at best conditions (not a total one indeed). When I left the house checking my protective glasses, a granny came by and asked "Do you think the eclipse will take place today?"
"Sure", I said, "it just started. Have a look please." passing her the glasses. She was impressed and said: "You know, I thought as there's no moon today, the show will be canceled."
A little later I encountered a guy with a telescope at a greenfield by chance. I saw sunspots, mountains on the moon, and we talked about astronomy and nature in general for the next 1 1/2 hours... it was awesome (no need to mention that it was the first time for me to look through a "real" telescope ) .
