Can't believe I watched that whole charade, waiting to see something cool or original, and I got smothered with plagiarism and musical cliches.  No wonder the emptiness of it all ended with one crab in the basket getting upset when he was pushed down by another crab.  The highlight (low point) for me was the shocking hypocrisy of unveiling a campaign against rape and wife-beating sandwiched between adds for mascara!  Do they even see what's going on?!?  Pity the musicians who have to deal with the industry "leaders".

Shirley Manson is a goddess.

She was awesome with Garbage, she was AWESOME with the "world is not enough" and she was awesome in the "terminator" TV series. 

Kant-ya worst is not awesome. He is a little troll who mad mad cash for unknown reasons. He did this crap with Katrina, he's done this more than once with music awards, I find nothing about his "rapping' that is unique or worthy of the sucksess he's had.

w/o saying some "really mean" things about him (and that is hard) it's safe to say that I think Beyonce would actually be better off w/o his nonsense.
