I have been working on a lot of original stuff and band projects, but this one just came out and I'm very proud of it. Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes is putting it out on his label Silver Arrow Records which is part of Sony! We have moved on up to a bigger label, and are on tour, started yesterday at The Warfield in San Francisco, dream gig for us. Please give us a listen and thanks for getting this far.

So the past 2 days, my favorite folk music group Värttinä had 355 views on this masterpiece performance.
And their channel has 3280 subscribers.

They deserve better.

Excellent track. Hard to know exactly when its from. Maybe early 90s. I love Chris and cosey, much more than tg

Great track! Hadn't heard it before. Chris and Cosey are by far my favourite post-TG incarnation, but I always think of TG as being a bit like the Beatles - very patchy, but their best work is untouchable, and the various aftermath projects never quite measured up. I can never see what all the fuss is about with Coil. And Psychic TV were a bad joke

Sounds fucking great loud.

I heard this for the first time last week. I never knew Rhythm of the Night was borrowing the vocal line from another song. In any case, they are both bangers!

One of my favourite records. This has Impressively terrible hippy rave visuals and a fucking stormer version of Moaner thats not on thd cd release.

Thinking as I was listening to it about how Born Slippy is the Stairway of my (cultural, chronological) generation - its length, its ubiquity, its genius, its influence and its sheer wtf is he talking about lyrics. It still rules.

Karen Carpenter bashing the actual shit out her kit at 18. Not often you want a drum solo to go on for longer...

If she'd been born 12 years later she'd have been the drummer for Black Flag

The YT algorithm served me this little Norwegian lo-fi gem today. Sounds a bit like Nils Lofgren:
