Who has used talent Is timeless site?

Have joined a site for over 50s musicians called talent is timeless - they do competitions for songs courses and stuff like that

Seems however they are all playing just acoustic guitar and play blues or folky stuff - I mean come on if you are in your 50s60s surely you lived through 70s80s music and have a synth and a laptop - seem if you do a pop track with a laptop they seem a bit sniffy about it - interested in your experiences
