Just showing off my skill at spike removal in Audacity, really.

Here's a song l originally made on the Amiga. I added the special FX at the start, all the drum beats and percussion, the discordant horror chord stab part, the air raid siren and all the vocals, at a later stage on the PC.

Everything else was from the Amiga, so these were lo-fi samples which l removed spikes from algorithmically and then by hand, in Audacity.

I don't recall EQing the Amiga samples, but l probably did.

If you took a listen, a question: do the Amiga samples sound lo-fi to you?

Sounds pretty 1994 to me. (And I mean that in a good way.) Like something you'd download off napster thinking it was something else.
If you ain't hip to the rare Housequake, shut up already.

Damn.

Nice tunage Hepcat. I liked the gated vocal at 2 mins 25-ish. Good work.
