I'm curious at trying out Bandcamp but since my songs are not professionally mixed I want to make them available for free, just like SoundCloud. Can I do that? If yes, do I still have to add a bunch of credit card and personal info in the registration process?Releasing free songs at Bandcamp?

Yes you can release music for free, pay what you want (donations) or any amount up to $1000 if I'm not mistaken.

Why would you release youremosic for free?
Put a price on it. It's a good way to see how people value it. If you want to release it for free just put it on sound cloud and let peple DL the thing.
