I just got home from work and am finally having a drink and blasting his music. RIP. Thank you for all your weird-cool music.
Geez--Scott Weiland, Lemmy, now David Bowie.. too many legends are disappearing too close together.

Been listening to Aladdin Sane a lot lately, it's not his greatest work but there's something about it that really gets me. Great sound, some killer tracks and it features one of the greatest album-openers of all time

I just double checked: Nile Rodgers is also credited as playing guitar on the album, but at least the solo is SRV

just read this from adam's post, aka mocean worker...james brown actually sampled david bowie, how crazy is that! granted it was probably just played, and not sampled, but still it's interesting to see one of the most sampled artists borrowing/stealing from others :)

If you're looking for a way to express how you feel, here's an acapella you could play with.

This is one of the last 'official' photos of Bowie, on his birthday, just days ago...

Meanwhile, I'm still in denial...he just can't be gone.

Laughing death in the face! Bowie definitely was unique, and he seemed to go out on his own terms. Amazing man! Amazing talent!

Wow, talking about Gabriel.. Alan Rickman just died as well, same age.. o_O
