Its nice, i would build more layers on top loads of big strings. The beat sounds a bit like its going faster then slower, was that intentional ?

Re: Blade Runner 2049...
Amazing how single-handedly this movie has put me off from going back to the cinema again.
Must have been the added realism of the coldness of the movie when the central heating stopped working (no joke, actually happened!)
Everyone had hats and gloves on. It was too surreal.

Re: Reason's last useful native audio FX was over 6 years ago...
Interesting how dana would like more live sequencing and live video effects - and I don't need that direction. Psuper wants GUI improvements. Useful, but I'd rather have DSP optimizations and enhanced midi. There is a big list of things, but people wouldn't pay *just* for enhanced midi or dsp optim...

Re: Bladerunner Brass Synth
Love the Lemuria v2 track :-) Sadly i dont have the Polysix to try out Normens patch. But i noticed in the other patches that when two voices are sounding/overlapping i most of the time get some distortion going which leads to that brassy thing i am looking for. A bit uncontrollable though. Antidot...

I get what you mean, but i would rather use rack extension effects rather than propellerhead wasting time on fx when they could be adding new features like live sequencing and live video effects

Be careful - if you don't upgrade your codemeter driver but upgrade reason, it can crash your machine and stop windows from booting! Check you have the latest versions installed.

Re: Bladerunner Brass Synth
I find PolySix's saw in unison with a bit of spread and lots of RV7000 works pretty well. Edit: Looking at my patch I actually used RV7 :) If you up the numbers of voices you get more of that "brassy" if I interpret that right. https://www.dropbox.com/s/g93x5ihl89nxyy1/Blade%20Runner%20Horns.cmb?dl...

Re: Bladerunner Brass Synth
Because of this thread, i decided to make a v2 of a vangelis-inspired track. Here is the reason file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ujrop218u5uh697/120A%20-%20Lemuria%20v2.reason?dl=1 Of this track (to preview): YpCrfMM7 At least now you can get a subscription to use all the rack extensions i use here i...

Re: Reason is going DOWN HILL FAST - Zero CARE about Efficiency anymore.
Its easy enough to max out other synths on their maximum quality settings. VSTs like Softube Modular also kill the cpu on certain presets. ReSpire is one of those, whether VST or RE. Its nothing to do with Propellerhead Reason. I posted a pic of my overclocked 5960x with a pad with 16 note polyphony...

Re: Grid64n by retouchcontrol is amazing
Here's what i did with it: Start with a 4 note sequence. Copy it to the next slot, change it with the chord fuction, repeat until all 16 are filled. Now you have a kind of chord sequence, its pretty cool. I did the beats with Grid64g (going to Softube Heartbeat) to go with it. I'm going to see how f...

Remember 4mer has an oversampling switch on the back, you can make it super-high quality 8x but it really pushes the cpu hard.

Re: ChamberTron RE from GForce is in the shop
I couldn't find a way to report the bugs, they make it difficult to contact them unless you are a registered user, which there is no point as its for vst users.
I left a comment on the youtube video but no response has been made.

Take a look at this, overclocked 5960x with a pad with 16 notes polyphony on ReSpire, almost pegs the cpu!. Sounds amazing, though! Windows.PNG Post the pad patch so I can test on my machine. I most certainly have a CPU that's much slower than yours , yet I'm able to play a ~20 ReSpire track projec...

Re: Respire just got better
I love to play with both Reason and Ableton and even though I want the RE format to grow if I decide to buy Spire or the Softube FET Compressor for example I’ll obviously go for the format which I can open in both DAWs without using Rewire. I’m sure I’m not the only customer who came to this conclu...
