Re: The, think up a good financing / subscription model thread, ...
Ive dumped Adobe because of the subscription model and moved to Affinity. I dont believe Adobe have provided any useful new features for a few years. 3D was interesting but their 3D performance is awful despite claims of using GPU processing etc . The only reason i would have wanted to upgrade for w...

Re: Automation editing PITA
I'm not sure what the story is on automation. It's a great feature but there are so many areas where it could be improved. It's core platform. Unlike synths or effects it isn't something that can be delivered or replaced by third party re's. Third party Re's would benefit from improved automation. Y...

Re: CV - Do you use it? I don't.
I use it but LFOs mostly. When i get a new device i'll often throw a matrix at the various inputs to see what they do . Visualising what is actually going on is the biggest problem for me . It would be great if there was option to see the knobs moving. There should be a read write track for CV that ...

I own the T2 phaser and Distort chain. Both seem to be having have problems in Reason 9. When I browse patches they sometimes hang or disable themselves and I've seen odd things happen in some of the patches. Are these still supported devices? I clicked on the support links and they appear to go to ...

Re: 2nd December 2016 I become 100% piratefree
When I was in my early teens, I pirated PhotoShop and learned it inside out, teaching myself from the plethora of tutorial websites that there were even in those days. (Spoono, anyone?) These days I'm 100% legit, though I've switched to Capture One and GIMP because I refuse to indulge Adobe's new b...

I was going to buy the Parsec upgrade, all the Jiggery Pokery Organs, Blamsoft Expanse and StringWERK. For some reason the lack of discount on the Parsec upgrade is really irritating me in the same way the complete your bundle policy is irritating me and I didnt buy anything.

From the shop page
Released: 2016-10-26
Price: 149.00 USD (Save 56.43%)
199 * 56.43% = 112.2957
199 - 112.2957 = 86.7043
Discount is actually 25%

Re: Parsec 2 is in the shop!
I'm a little mystified by all this whining about not being able to trial Parsec 2. If you've got Parsec, then you know basically what you're dealing with. The new features on P2 are well explained, and it shouldn't be too hard to see that they amount to a whole bunch of goodness. If it were an enti...

Re: Players OFF button not= bypass
I wonder if I may have answered my own question. Perhaps by having chords as the input to the SC Player there is still some filtering going on in the player when its off. Here is the file. Track 1 is without player, track 2 with OFF SC player. Turning all players off gives the same output on both ch...

I create a track with some chords I include a Radical Piano (American Pop Piano) with a Dual Arpeggio (Action) I duplicate the track and play both tracks. They are essentially identical with a touch of phasing I add a SC player to track one (default, B major) and switch it off The tracks are no long...

Players OFF button not= bypass
I've noticed that if i have a Scales and Chord in front of a Dual Arppeggio and I switch Scales and Chord OFF I get a change in sound but its a different result than if the scale and chord player isn't present . Very noticeable with Radical Piano, less so with ID8 but still there. I assumed on on/of...

I'm willing to pay but have no idea how much or for what. I can imagine a scenario where i ask for something, hear it and want something else so its likely to be a bit of backwards and forwards. Be careful with WordPress. If you don't keep it fully up to date it will get hacked and even then may get hacked. I've been hacked twice which was annoying, my friend was using a commercial word press real estate package and pretty much lost all her business. For reasons I don't understand if you ar...

There is a special offer on the Magix US site. If you buy Vegas 13 before the 31st August 2016 you can get it for $200 and a free upgrade to Vegas 14 in September. That is something like $400 bucks off the old price. I use Soundforge and only found out about the purchase by Magix today. Otherwise ha...

You'll need to get an after market cooler if you want silent running on the CPU. The stock fan wont do it. I live in south east Asia and my I7 fan used to run flat out. I replaced it with an after market large heat sink large fan cooler and its essentially silent and the CPU runs cooler as well. Apa...

If the ''Re'' strategy is to outsource and take a percentage from all sound generation and effects via third parties, and keep Reason as an assembly, edit and connection framework then logically the platform should be improved for assembly edit and connection. Re: Three new Rigs in the Shop ( Expanded Versions)
Ok, some clarification is in order here. I'm not against business or sales in any way, and I understand why they do these things. My beef (minor, but still) is that loyal users rarely get any love from the companies they have supported long term. . Or at least if you complain here, ALSO offer a spe...
