SHIFT+COPY is the answer.

Thanks so much - I've never done that to copy a device before so I've no idea how it's always seemed to work in the past - but it works now and that's the main thing!

Bandcamp is okay. For more commercially astute there is Songtradr - lots of genres and even SFX are acceptable.

I like this idea. I mean the idea that Sheeran is open to trying regression, to give the track a nostalgic feel. Let's face it, he isn't a conventional artist by any means. He'll go with the flow and, if it sounds alright to him, he'll say "that'll do". And if Ed Sheeran says "that'll do" - it'll do...

Just my thoughts, fwiw; Is the same distortion apparent across all mediums - on YouTube, iTunes, etc.? It could be a way to incentivize peeps to buy it legitimately if it isn't distorted on the paid mediums. A bit like music videos with stops, gaps and visuals which break up the content of a song - ...

afaik, there is no commercial aspect for Allihoopa - SoundCloud provides (at least) the opportunity for you to post a link to your productions for purchase (in the meta-data section).

SoundCloud could have developed better. It is great when it comes to sharing links allover, but terrible when it comes to "like" songs.
