VST's in Reason can't transmit MIDI (yet), so Cthtulu and LFO Tool won't work as expected in transmitting MIDI and/or MIDI CC's.

A notepad would be VERY handy, to remember what is what in the Combinator. It would also be beneficial for sharing Combinator patches with others.

Is anyone using a TB-03 with Reason 8? I'm trying to figure out how to get the TB-03 audio into Reason while sending MIDI clock out to sync the 03 to Reason. Is this even possible ALL over USB?

Madison is good, but I left the nightlife scene a number of years ago. I still make beats when the kids are occupied, but it's often slow going on the "getting tracks done" front.

It makes any "decision" easier when someone said they'd gift me a copy of ReCycle 2.1 today. I guess I can still afford to pick up Reason 8 AND still get to use ReCycle.

Hmm... I'm a tweaker, so I'd probably get enough use out of ReCycle to make it worthwhile to own. I was hoping there's be enough functionality in Reason that it'd be like getting 2-for-1, but it sounds like it might not be.

What about exporting REX files to use outside of Reason? Namely, some of the factory loops? Is it possible to load, edit, and then export a REX file in the Factory Sound Banks? It sounds like I'd be better off spending the $110 on the Reason upgrade than $60 for a second hand copy of ReCycle, at lea...

I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like it's the operating system that needs to be 32-bit, not the host environment. It sounds like their way of saying Win XP is no longer supported.

This. I use Rewire to slave Reason to Cubase, with Cubase launched in 32 bit mode.

I'm still on 6.5.3 and want to upgrade, but I'm still using 32 bit mode for an important plugin that changed how it works in 64 bit mode. Is like to upgrade to 8.x, but I've heard that 8.2 or 8.3 is 64 bit only now.

What are my options?
