How lucky we are!

Found this video. Made me cringe but also appreciate just how lucky we are with our digital studios and synths these days. We can get an analog sound without this.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmAOLsMFRJo It's also great to see that the instruments really are being played live, rather than som...

Re: (Electronic\Upbeat\PoohBear Style) Into The Night

Very cool track - nicely done!
This would be a great soundtrack.
The sound design is an interesting blend of retro+contemporary which I always like.
That video is crazy - really well done, and it is perfect for the music. How did you do it?

Re: Step recording MIDI chords

I've been asking for this feature for years. Even my old Yamaha CX-5 had this feature in the sequencer (although to be fair, it didn't have real-time recording, only did step edit haha). It should work for chords or single notes.

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!

I managed to buy before they pulled it from the shop. I don't do much CV stuff, but the user interface bugs and quirks need to be fixed, as well as the performance hit on certain patches. And I really hope they implement pull down menus for the oscillator waveform, filter types etc. That said, this ...

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!

I hope they also add dropdown menus to select waveforms and other things, like we now have in Expanse, Zero etc. The UI is pretty basic on this thing, and it's quite inconsistent - e.g. the way to change waveform is very different to the way to change reverb type. But the presets do sound very, very...

I also like Vecto. Great presets that fit well into a mix. I have never programmed evolving sounds using the X-Y, but the standard samples are great quality and very usable.

60s, 70s, 80s, A lot of great music, and then came the 90s ........ This brings me back to my childhood, very good cover. :) Thanks! The 90s was a funny decade eh. Decade of the rompler I think, a lot of the M1 Piano etc! I'm tempted to attempt a bit of Euro Dance at some stage ... get ready for th...

Re: REASON gets VST !!!!!!

Gees there's a fair amount of emotion on this thread. I remember back in the old PUF forum quite a bit of concern over MIDI-Out and even Rack Extensions being compromising the purity of the closed box platform, and look where we are now. I think we need to have a bit of confidence that whatever Prop...

Yup, sure ... , that would vaporize the RE market in seconds ... so, forget it I'm not so sure about this. Imagine the user base would double because of VST Support. Even if the existing users wouldn't spend so much money anymore for RE's, the increase of new users who would sometimes buy a R...

A few thoughts; Ergonomics - Have a think about where you want to place your Qwerty keyboard vs piano keyboard vs control surface. That's the most important decision and then everything has to work around it. Whatever you do, you need to be square on to your working environment and then easy to slid...

Re: (Pure Electronic Music) Waters Are My Sky - new album video

Looks like Serenescreen aquarium to me... ? Around 17 mins the pads especially sound very aquatic, as does the arp around 21mins, and sonar-like and dolphin-like sounds around 29 mins. I reckon some of the individual tracks could be pulled out and extended to much longer ambient works. They have a g...
