For what it's worth, I haven't had substantial issues with tuning (or anything else on mine). There's a lot to love about this synth, and it sounds great, but the tiny stiff knobs (yes, I know how that sounds) and lack of MIDI CC aren't awesome. Still a fantastic synth at a great price, though.

Honestly: I don't like the tiny breadboard-style jumper wires for patching. For west-coast at entry level I would recommend the Makenoise 0-coast. For a higher price tag, I must admit.
